'Wild Mabel' Sterling & Brass Moth Earrings
Handmade in W. North Carolina
Original design by Haleigh Mae Thompson featuring American-mined (Polk County, Arkansas) Mona Lisa turquoise, brass, and sterling silver.
I kept the first pair of these that I made. I had never worked with brass and wanted to witness how it aged, being that brass is made up of part copper and part zinc. They now have a delightful patina just from wearing. So keep in mind these won’t stay so shiny forever - the age beautifully.
(& if you want them shiny, you can always touch them up with a dish soap + baking soda paste)
Two options at time of posting:
Longer Hindwing Tails: 2 1/2” in length
Shorter Hindwing Tails: 2 1/8” in length
